Strong SME growth!

A quarterly survey from the CBI has revealed that the growth from Britain’s SME’s was stronger in the three months up to July this year than at any time since 1955. The reason for the increase was due to a big jump in export orders and companies rebuilding their stockpiles.Good news is always welcome but particularly as the economy begins to prosper .

Sarah Hunt
Sarah joins us with over 20 years experience in the factoring industry. Starting at Barclays as a mere youngster, she joined Arbuthnot Commercial Finance Ltd and now joins us after a stint at Bibby Financial Services. When away from work (which is not often) she is a keen gardener and when it all gets too much, she enjoys the occasional bottle of wine and a good book!

Mike Watson
With 25 years of UK and International industry experience focussing on Operations, Risk, Audit & Credit. He set up the Leeds office for what was Cattles Invoice Finance and which is now Absolute. As an ABFA Education Committee Member he is committed to the ongoing development of industry-focused training. Outside work Mike enjoys watching most sports especially football and cricket, he also enjoys cooking Indian and Thai food.
